Since joining our Java recruitment team in 2018, Charlotte has gone from strength to strength at Understanding Recruitment and progressed to a managerial role in 2022. She specialises in recruiting Java Software Developers across all levels of seniority from Graduate, Mid, Senior, to Lead level. 

Throughout the process, Charlotte prides herself on offering lots of guidance to both candidates and clients including salary reports, industry and market insights as well as interview preparation notes. She has strong experience advising and helping teams streamline their recruitment and interview process so that it is competitive, helping them secure the talent they are looking for. Her favourite thing about her job is helping people find careers that are fulfilling and building relationships with Talent Acquisition teams and Line Managers.

A little known fact about Charlotte is that she loves learning languages and speaks French and Spanish fluently. She also studied Mandarin for 7 years and also gave Russian a go!
