Senior Java Engineer
Up to £115k
Remote (1 x 3 months in the London office)
We are thrilled to collaborate with an e-trading technology company to find Senior Java Engineers to join their team and work on a new eTrading product. With a history of delivering solutions for banks and asset managers in the Fixed Income and Derivatives Markets, this rapidly expanding company is an exciting opportunity to progress and continue learning in a new role.
A great Senior Java Engineer will:
- Have a Computer science, Mathematics, or related degree from a top Russell Group university
- Have commercial Core Java experience
- Be happy with full-time pair-programming
- Have a clear understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Be a strong communicator
- Have experience with heavy multithreading and concurrency
As a Senior Java Engineer you will:
- Build resilient and adaptable fintec platforms and components in Java
- Refractor code to improve design
- Focus on Core Java, with heavy emphasis on multithreading and concurrency
- Work on developing a new eTrading product
