📍 Hybrid (3 days per week in London office)
We are partnering with a global leader in financial data services to find an exceptional C++ Developer to join their team. This opportunity involves working within the Realtime Data department, responsible for delivering and processing over 40 billion messages daily from financial exchange connections, which are distributed to a large, diverse client base. As a developer in a multi-functional team, you'll play a key role in enhancing the performance, efficiency, and scalability of mission-critical systems.
Your Role as a C++ Developer
- Work as part of a dedicated team to improve the global delivery and storage systems that handle billions of messages per day.
- Troubleshoot and solve live client issues to ensure continuous system operation.
- Contribute to system efficiency improvements within a growing and dynamic market environment.
- Collaborate closely with other developers, QA, DevOps, and production management teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of real-world experience in C++ development, with expertise in C++11.
- Strong knowledge of STL and Boost libraries.
